mim, find the scedule for the weekly blocks, and do them in that order. the list sort of steers you towards spacing out the difficult blocks. do them at a modest pace. do not try to get the whole thing done by xmas, or fall, or some such pace, like i did. or you will end up hurting your body. and then have to get well to proceed. like i did. i wanted to be done before spring gardening season.

Great Mim!! Its nice to have people to work with and encouragement along the way. We are all still hanging around and will be happy to help you, should you need it. Sounds like you have a great helper in your other friend though...which are hers??

Tutu made the blue and the brown ones. I was surprised to see her name as one of the "authors" of the CD. We did several exchanges in the late 90s .

I will put back my fav exchange quilt as my avatar. She did the last border that looks like maple leaves -- but it is really the bud of the SA national flower, -- the protea. I wasn't aware of that until last winter when I we lived in Destin FL and the secretary of the condo complex looked at a pix and told me -- she was from Cape Town SA.

Thanks to you all for being so welcoming -- Mim

Oh gosh mim....I'm assuming that your "exchange" is what I've always referred to as a Round Robin...you make a center and its sent around to "friends" who add a border or section, etc. Your quilt is lovely!

I'll have to go look at her blue/brown ones..

Glad your dream was just that Patti! Sounds like the worst kind of nightmare to me with all the sweat and tears we put into our Janes.
